Four kilometres of coastline between Marbella centre and Puerto Banús — historically the most concentrated luxury address in continental Spain. Adjacent to Marbella Club Hotel (1954) and Puente Romano. Beachfront residences here are among the rarest in Europe.
The Golden Mile begins at the Marbella Club Hotel — opened by Alfonso de Hohenlohe in 1954 — and ends at the Puerto Banús marina. In between: roughly 800 residences, perhaps a hundred of which are beachfront.
Inventory here moves slowly because owners stay. The average residence is held for fourteen years; some have not changed hands since the 1970s.
