One coast, many markets. Each district below carries its own guide. Where the live asking-price index measures a district, its card shows the median asking price per square metre with the sample size and snapshot date; where the index holds too few priced listings under that name, the card says so instead of printing a figure. These are asking prices, not closing prices: Spain publishes no per-property closing data, so no one in this market can honestly quote transaction medians, ourselves included. The guides above are the zones the desk writes about. The register reaches further: 185 zones hold at least 3 residences of a single type, and each of those 340 combinations has its own page. Counts are read from the register as this page is built, so a zone that thins out leaves the list rather than becoming a dead link. Most of these zones carry no guide and no measured median — a page here means residences are listed, not that the desk has written about the address.
